Our Discussion:

This is a very dense paper that describes an principled approach to design experiments minimizing the number of constructs to test to optimize the expression of expression systems that rely on the co-expression of multiple genes. My understanding is that the approach presented in this paper is enabled by the services provided by De Novo DNA. However there is much more to this paper than just the RBS library calculation. I must say that I sometimes got lost in the reading as it seems that sometimes the paper got sidetracked in different directions. Maybe it would have be easier to digest if broken down into smaller pieces. It may just be that I did not have enough time to spend on it. Certainly to be revisited though.
